JOB SUMMARY
You assist the supervisor or designate in performing advanced level administrative functions and support, as assigned, and providing friendly, helpful and courteous service to clients or the public while providing appropriate information. You may also assist the supervisor or designate in handling financial transactions as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary Student - completion of second-year college or university in a business or related field
Two years or more of related experience is required.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of generally accepted human resource policies and procedures
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Effectively communicate, orally and in writing, including participating in meetings and presentations
- Advanced level of competence using computers
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Tact, patience, attention to detail
- Willingness to enter data for long periods of time
- Ability to interact with a variety of people
- Organized and thorough
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Language Requirement: Various language requirements, locations may require English only, French only OR Bilingual competencies. Some positions require English oral, reading, and writing. Some positions required French oral, reading and writing.
