  • Healthy sexuality counselling, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and follow-up

  • Falls prevention e.g. screening, education and awareness

Protection

  • Tuberculosis and communicable disease management
  • Food premise inspections e.g. restaurants, grocery stores
  • Food Handler Certification training
  • Personal service settings inspections e.g. multi-service spas, tattoo parlours
  • Management of infectious diseases outbreaks in institutions e.g. hospitals, long-term care homes, child care centres and schools
  • Rabies control and surveillance
  • Mosquito control and West Nile virus monitoring
  • Drinking water testing
  • Inspection of public pools and recreational water quality testing at beaches
  • Extreme Weather / Emergency and Pandemic preparedness and response
