JOB SUMMARY
The Service Analytics and Planning Branch is responsible for developing data analytics and measurement strategies to facilitate fact based planning and decision making, and to identify service improvement projects.
You are responsible for leading and coordinating the corporate strategic planning process to develop strategic and organizational business plans aligned with key strategic direction and priorities. You consult with stakeholders to gather input, monitor performance and report on key outcomes and deliverables related to strategic planning. You also design and facilitate strategic planning and strategy review workshops with senior decision makers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 4 year university degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Planning or related field
Master’s degree is an asset
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategic or business planning and strategy implementation, including experience applying models and methodologies for organizational planning and strategy development and facilitating senior decision makers. Experience in municipal strategic planning is an asset.
