JOB SUMMARY
The SAP Solutions Branch is responsible for evaluating and improving the full lifecycle and delivery of SAP programs, services, projects and solutions to the corporation. SAP is the City’s integrated software solution used to manage an extensive range of business processes including finance, material management, procurement, sales distribution, real estate management, plant maintenance, human resources, payroll and project systems.
The City is transitioning from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition) under RISE with SAP.
You are responsible for coordinating the technical development, management, maintenance and operation of the SAP Landscape. The end-to-end SAP landscape includes SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, Portal, PI/PO, BW/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and SAP BTP applications such as Integration Suite, Work Zone, IAS/IPS, Identity and Access Governance, Cloud ALM, Joule and Datasphere. The list of the applications includes both current on-premises and future state cloud environments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 3 year university degree or community college diploma in computer science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in information systems, including microcomputer support and business analysis
KNOWLEDGE
- ECC 6.0, HANA, PI/PO 7.5, SAP Portal, BW/4HANA and BPC
- SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud Edition)
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture and applications, including Integration Suite, Work Zone, IAS/IPS, IAG (Identity Access Governance), Cloud ALM, Datasphere, and Joule.
- Comprehensive SAP security administration and authorization governance, leveraging the capabilities of SAP IAG, IAS and IPS
- SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Ariba administration, security and integration with other applications
- SSO configuration, certificate management and identity federation using SAML2, OAuth, and OIDC protocols
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux and Microsoft Windows.
- Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.
