JOB SUMMARY
Lansdowne 2.0 is one of the City’s most complex and high-profile redevelopment projects, focused on revitalizing the Lansdowne Park district through the delivery of a new 6,600 capacity event center, a 12,400 capcity North side stands, mixed-use development, and supporting public realm improvements. The Design & Construction, Lansdowne 2.0 Branch within infrastructure Services is responsible for managing the full lifecycle delivery of this large-scale, multi-year capital program from design through procurement, construction, and commissioning.
As Project Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating, implementing, and supporting the delivery of various projects and activities within the Lansdowne 2.0 program. You assist management staff by conducting research, maintaining a site presence, monitoring construction activities, and compiling and analyzing project information to support informed decision-making.
You prepare reports, briefings, and responses on project issues; track and manage project-related requests; and maintain effective communication and coordination among internal staff, consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and other levels of government. You help ensure project timelines, documentation, and reporting requirements are met, and contribute to maintaining the overall quality and integrity of project delivery.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 3 year university degree, with major focus in the discipline applicable to the business or service delivery area of the position, such as Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience working in a large organization, with demonstrated related experience in project planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation.
The incumbent should be experienced in a range of project related elements, such as information technology, public policy, customer service management, communications, organizational change and development, business process modeling, policy and procedure management or human resources, using such tools as project management, document management, and research analyses.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Language Requirement: English oral, reading, writing
- Driver’s License Requirement: A valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated
- Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
