JOB SUMMARY
You are responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of strategic projects/programs and initiatives. You liaise with the assigned service area, department and/or community group(s) to undertake collaborative and inclusive community engagement and development activities; contribute to the service area’s public engagement plans and program-specific communications plans; and write, edit, and coordinate the design of outreach materials and content intended for public distribution. You also support the planning and execution of public events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 4 year university degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Public Relations or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience working in a large organization, with demonstrated experience in areas relating to community development, project management, community involvement, events planning or promotional activities.

- Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers

- Language Requirement: Designated Bilingual – specific level of language proficiency: French: oral, reading, writing English: oral, reading, writing Candidates who do not meet language requirements will be required to participate in training.
