JOB SUMMARY
You are responsible for coordinating day-to-day requests within the assigned department for publishing to internal and external digital assets including websites. This includes publishing pages, posting content, removal of content, escalation of issues, identification of technical issues, and working in partnership with clients and colleagues on solutions.
You also: research and prepare content and quality assurance of digital assets and accessibility for all users; work in partnership with the Digital Services Coordinator in the development and the execution of the overall digital work plan for the department; and provide input into publishing plans for clients/departments, adhering to corporate standards, departmental policies and guidelines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 3 year university degree or community college diploma in communications, information technology, information management, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in web publishing and web content management working in a large multi-site public organization and service delivery of digital services
Experience with government websites is desirable

- Web content management solutions, such as Drupal, Site Studio

- Language Requirement: Designated Day 1 Ready – immediate requirement for language proficiency: French: oral, reading, writing English: oral, reading, writing Candidates must meet language requirement for position upon hire.
