Take a moment to reflect on your decision to pursue policing as a potential career. This questionnaire is for your information only. 

You should be able to answer “yes” to each of the questions below.

1. Are you a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident? 
2. Can you legally drive a vehicle in Ontario (Class G minimum)? 
3. Is your driving record clean?(No more then 6 demerit points)
4.  Have you successfully completed your High School Diploma?
5. Are you fit to perform the duties of a Police Officer? (hearing, vision, fitness level)
6. Are you willing to work shift work? (24/7, weekends, holidays)
7. Are you comfortable engaging with diverse persons?
8. Do you make an effort to learn about cultures that are different from your own?
9. Are you able to deal with stressful situations ? 
10. Are you able to establish rapport with people you don't know? 
11. Can you make quick decisions in chaotic situations? 
12. Do you have the confidence to take control of a situation?
